Welcome to Yal-Day-New!
A Jewish Community for OUR CHILDREN

The mission at Yal-Day-New is to provide the upmost care and Jewish early education for our students ranging from Infant through Preschool in a bilingual Hebrew and English environment. Yal-Day-New's goal is to provide a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for our students. We encourage prospective families to browse our website and learn more about our early education and preschool program. To see our curriculum in action and meet the teachers, we welcome prospective families to schedule a tour to visit our school. Yal-Day-New operates Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm year-round. We enroll students throughout the school year based upon availability, as we are currently in the process of the 2014-2015 school year.
Yal-Day-New will host an Open House on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 from 6:30pm-8:30pm to learn about our early education and preschool program for the current 2014-2015 school year and the upcoming 2015-2016 school year! Free parking is available in front of Yal-Day-New and Temple Bnai Moshe's parking area. We know that choosing an early education and preschool program is an important decision. We look forward to your visit as you determine the best option for your family. Individual tours are available, please contact Lindsay Harvey at 617-782-3661 for more information.

At Yal-Day-New, we offer full-time and part-time programs for Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool students in a safe, dependable, and culturally-rich Jewish and Hebrew environment. Our early education and preschool program is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. By providing age-appropriate curriculum and knowledgeable child development professionals, Yal-Day-New meets the needs of children at every age and stage.

Yal-Day-New has been providing care to Infants for over twenty-five years, which is the longest running Infant program in the Brookline-Brighton-Newton area. By providing care for children from two months until Kindergarten, Yal-Day-New provides continuity in the lives of the children and families it serves. Continuity is important for helping children feel safe and loved, for developing lasting friendships, and for creating a supporting community of families.

We are proud to incorporate Jewish culture and values into all facets of our program. In our Preschool curriculum, we teach both the Hebrew & English Alphabets. All of our students
celebrate Jewish festivals & seasons, partake in daily art projects coinciding with the weekly curriculum theme, and enjoy specialized, educational field trips among the community.

We maintain a firm commitment to the beauties of Jewish practice and traditions. There is a fluent, Hebrew-speaking teacher in each classroom, as most of our students speak fluently in both English and Hebrew. We encourage students whom do not primarily speak English to enroll in our program. The staff at Yal-Day-New has the experience and resources to provide a comfortable and welcoming classroom environment for children among various languages.

Yal-Day-New hosts family celebrations for Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Purim, and Graduation. We provide an atmosphere among our families in the early education program that creates a community through these celebrations.

Our families reflect the diversity of the Jewish community with students hailing form Orthodox, Conservative, Reform and Israeli backgrounds.

We maintain a non-discriminatory enrollment policy, and believe all families come in different shapes and sizes. We encourage all families to inquire upon our early education program.
